The 21st Sommet de l’Elevage, 3-5 October 2012 in Clermont- Ferrand (France) is set to host 1,250 exhibitors, 80,000 professional visitors, and 2,000 animals of top-class genetic value. Located in central France, which has birthed the world’s most famous beef cattle breeds, the SOMMET is an exceptional showcase for French livestock breeding. Every year, the SOMMET lines up a rich program of livestock showings, breed competitions, technical innovations, business forums, professional trade events and conferences on hot issues in farming.

This 21st edition of the SOMMET DE L’ELEVAGE will also play host to national show competitions for the cattle breeds Blonde d’Aquitaine and Abondance and the sheep breeds Suffolk and Charollais.
